Interested in getting involved in your own community? Don't know where to start? Join us for the West Side Community Organization's monthly "West Side Voices: Food & Forum." Get involved and learn about happenings on the West Side including neighborhood issues, environment, and land use. Be a part of building and carrying out solutions to benefit our neighborhoods. No previous experience or requirements needed, your lived expertise of your neighborhood is more than enough.
Reoccurring breakout sessions include Health & Environmental Justice and Development & Land Use
Persons 16 years+ who reside on the West Side (Zip Code 55107) and attend three consecutive meetings may vote on official decisions. We use a consensus voting method - click here for the document. Everyone's input is requested and welcome for discussions. Meetings are typically held on the second Tuesday each month from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Baker Center - 209 Page Street West.
