West Side Community Organization

What would it look like if renters organized to collectively own their building? What housing coop models have worked locally and nationally? What other visions for community ownership can we imagine in our neighborhood?

Join us this fall to kick off a shared education series focused on community ownership! We want to explore what community ownership means in practice here on the West Side, in a way that’s rooted in our own histories, cultural practices, and lived experiences.

More details coming soon! If you’re interested in getting involved or learning more, reach out to Kai Andersen, our Equitable Development Director, at [email protected]!
