DONATE

Your donation to WSCO supports our core organizing, advocacy, and community-building work, allowing us to respond to emerging needs, advance long-term campaigns, and continue building power on the West Side—including:

‣ Environmental & racial justice through community-led advocacy in Southport—addressing air quality, safety, and environmental harms in our industrial corridor

‣ Resident-driven land use and planning through the Land Use Action Circle—ensuring development decisions reflect community priorities, not displacement

‣ Cultural and economic vitality by supporting West Side small businesses and entrepreneurs through the West Side Business Coalition (WSBC)

‣ Community storytelling and memory by advancing reparative justice and legacy work through Flats to the Future. Honoring the histories, struggles, and contributions that shape who we are and where we’re going

‣ Leadership development and civic participation. Investing in residents, community governance, and collective decision-making

‣ Dignified and stable housing by supporting policies that keep West Side residents housed

Rapid Response Support

In October 2025, WSCO launched the Hummingbird Initiative. The Hummingbird Initiative is a community-led effort rooted in the West Side. It was created in response to increased immigration enforcement activity and the growing need for accurate information, legal observation, and collective care for our neighbors.
