The West Side Trans and Queer Community (TAQC) is an affinity group for neighbors who identify as queer, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, asexual, intersex, Two Spirit, nonbinary, and all other marginalized sexual orientations and gender identities.

We meet to build community power, strengthen our connections, and envision a neighborhood where queer folks are organized to defend our rights and show up with pride on the West Side.

We're currently meeting the fourth Saturday of the month at Riverside Library from 2:00pm- 4:00pm. This year, we've had a game night, arts and crafts activities, and conversations about how to take action in the community. Last year, we held a beautiful West Side Pride picnic in the Garden of Good Hearts!
