Neighborhood and Cultural STAR grants now open!
The 2024 grant applications for the City of Saint Paul’s Neighborhood STAR and Cultural STAR programs are now open. Online applications for both programs are due Wednesday, May 15 at 4 p.m.
Police invite you to dialogue about relationship between community and police: The Saint Paul Police invite you to a conversation with the Chief Henry and leadership on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at Progressive Baptist Church, 1505 Burns Avenue from 6 pm to 8 pm. "The purpose of this gathering is to have an up close and personal, as well as a frank, dialogue with each other about improving the police/community relationship. We will discuss the needs of both the department and the community. The goal is to strengthen the bridges, intentionally, and strategically, in our shared partnerships and visions." The Minnesota Department of Transportation is planning future improvements to Robert St. between Annapolis St. and Fillmore Ave. They are in the process of developing design concepts, and want your feedback! Your input will help inform what Robert St. improvements are made. Join them for a public meeting on Tuesday, April 16, from 5-7 p.m. at Girl Scouts River Valleys Service Center (400 Robert St. S., St. Paul). You can also take an online survey now through May 6. It is available in English, Spanish and Somali. Public works improving signals on César Chávez
Public Works will be updating the traffic signal system on the West Side. They will be replacing the traffic signal and improving the pedestrian facilities at the intersection of Cesar Chavez Street, State Street, and George Street. Learn more
