MEETING SUMMARY BY AGENDA ITEMS AND BREAKOUT GROUP
- Community Conversations
-
-
- Martin: Alicia Lucio told me she heard gunshots
- Kareem- folks on his block page, things happening with super frozen stuff (pipes burst, furnaces going out). What support and resources can WSCO offer in this cold time?
- Marcus- thanks for wishing him well. Has a back brace. Concerns: still have to watch out for people who haven’t shoveled their sidewalks. Also, mail: 5 tenants moving in and out, and they’re still getting their mail. Places are vacant. Mac offered to help!

- La Clinica is scheduling vaccine appointments for folks over 65 years - you don’t have to be a regular patient there.
- Special agreements for Zoom meetings - this could look like agreement about how the facilitator selects people to speak, or being on a list that you come next, or maybe certain people speak about certain topics and others don't. (progressive stack or stack where you put your name in the chat if you want to speak)
- Vibe Checks - if one of these agreements is broken or strained, tonight you can message Monica Bravo privately if you want to voice your feelings
-
- Dismantling White Supremacy Culture (break-out for BIPOC & for white attendees)
-
-
- We’re working on shifting the culture at Voices away from white supremacist practices. Break-out spaces and ask for white leaders to help us move to leader-led model. (Discussion was extended at the request of members.)
