On Valentine’s day we celebrated together in community for our BHM Paint & Sip at Papa Legba's Lounge, right here on the West Side. Guests were welcomed by board leadership (Myisha and GillEtte) along with WSCO ED Monica and everyone's fav organizer RaRa! With food catered from Soul Bowl MN and paint kits from Paintings with Mo, we got cozy and creative.

Tony, the bartender for Papa Legba’s, created a signature drink for the night (available as a mocktail or cocktail), and we even had some special gifts from Lupita’s Boutique just a few doors down! Trivia prizes and goodie bags included products from Royalty Spoor Candles & Luv Me More Bombs. The candles and bath bombs were created by West Side youth Mylazia (Royalty Spoor) & Van Kovonna (Luv Me More).
We had a great time showing love to this black-owned business and welcoming community! Thank you for spending Valentine’s day with us.
