Record turnout on the West Side!
Wow! Last weekend, April 3, the West Side turned out in record numbers to launch the Keep St. Paul Home campaign for rent stabilization! And yes, it did help that it was Icy Cup’s opening day ;) Let’s keep up the momentum! We need your help to gather 10,000 signatures by June 15th in order to get rent stabilization on the ballot.
Sign the petition Keep an eye out for our volunteer team canvassing door to door on the West Side, tabling outside West Side businesses, and at upcoming WSCO events! We’ll have staff outside with petitions for you to sign at our Earth Day celebration April 24th at Castillo Park, as well as on May 11th for our Voices Forum at the Baker Center and many other soon-to-be-announced events. We’ll be posting details on our website event page.
Take action! We’ve got a small but mighty team of neighbors ready to do some doorknocking. Join us! This Saturday, 4/10, we’ll do a quick training on how to canvass, so we're ready to hit the streets and talk to our neighbors! Our goal? 10,000 signatures citywide by June 15th. Learn more here.
Donate If you aren’t up for volunteering, we are collecting donations to fund this historic campaign! We know that the landlord lobby will put up a major fight against this campaign, so it’s crucial that our community shows up. You can DONATE here.
Notaries needed! Our Keep St. Paul Home campaign is in search of a Public Notary to help us notarize petitions. Are you a notary? Contact Charlotte at [email protected].
