“It was really refreshing to see such a diverse group of people come together in support of their community. The programming was innovative, the music and the vibe was uplifting and it was what community care is supposed to look and feel like,” – Mohammed Farah, West Sider and WSCO community organizer
Last Wednesday, neighbors came together for Beats and Seeds, a community gathering to learn about what we have to teach and learn from each other, how to strengthen community safety through caring for one another– from overdose prevention to responding quickly when violence occurs in the neighborhood.
