Do you have ideas for alternative responses to non-emergency calls that can help keep your community safe? Make your voice heard this Tuesday and Saturday at town hall discussions with the Saint Paul Community-First Public Safety Commission.
Earlier this year, Mayor Carter convened the Saint Paul Community First Public Safety Commission made up of 48 community members from a wide range of backgrounds. Through a process led by the Citizens League, they are examining a wide range of policy ideas for alternative response models to priority-4 and priority-5 (non-emergency) calls for service.
The Saint Paul Community-First Public Safety Commission wants to engage community members who live and work in Saint Paul. There are two meetings coming up where attendees can learn more about the commission’s work and share their ideas. These will take place on Tuesday, March 16th from 7pm to 9pm and Saturday, March 20th from 2pm to 4pm.
