The West Side Community Organization’s Land Use Action Circle is organizing a summer of engagement for Robert Street as a destination, not just a place to pass through. The Minnesota Department of Transportation is anticipating millions in funding to redesign Robert Street– let’s take advantage of this opportunity to make it a thriving, community-centered area!
Are you a local business owner or neighbor near Robert Street?
You’re invited to a neighborhood meeting to envision how we can turn Robert Street around, and make it a place that meets our community’s needs!
Together, we will:
- Engage other neighbors and businesses
- Envision the future of Robert Street
- Learn how other cities have succeeded
Our next meeting is Tuesday, June 25th, from 5:00pm - 6:30pm. We’ll have snacks at 5, and then start the meeting at 5:30. We’re meeting at the corner of Robert Street and Isabel Street. (In case of rain, we will meet at the Baker Center on 209 Page St. W.)
We’re excited to have special guest Joseph Hang, Researcher at the University of Minnesota’s Minnesota Design Center, joining us at this meeting!
