Accompanying Immigrants in Detention (AID) - AID program enables Interfaith Coalition on Immigration volunteers to directly support immigrant detainees and their families who live in the Twin Cities area. They accompany individuals in immigration detention and their families, provide emotional and financial support and help make connections to resources. Leave a voicemail at 612-217-1185.

Legal Aid

Immigration Law Center of MN - ILCM provides free immigration legal representation to low-income immigrants and refugees in Minnesota and North Dakota

If you are detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) or calling on behalf of someone in the custody of ICE, please call 651-641-1011 during the following hours to receive assistance: Mondays 2-4 p.m., Thursdays 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Volunteer Lawyer Network (VLN) - connects Minnesotans experiencing poverty with some of the top private lawyers in the state at no cost. Connecting volunteer attorneys with clients in need. Call 612-752-6677.

The Advocates For Human Rights - offer free immigration legal help and immigration advocacy & education 

Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid - provide aid to people with low incomes, seniors, and people with disabilities

International Institute of MN - provide low-cost immigration legal assistance for refugees and immigrants living in Minnesota. Call (651) 377-8642 and leave one voicemail message.

American Immigration Lawyers Association: Find an immigration lawyer Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota

Minnesota Freedom Fund - pays cash bails and immigration bonds for those who can’t afford it
