Through generations Indigenous Womxn and Womxn of Color have been the backbone of our families and neighborhoods. This summit we are aiming to center the voices, stories, and lived experiences of IWWOC of color in our neighborhoods, our city, and government. This includes Femmes, Queer, Trans, and Gender Fluid people of color whom do not identify with or feel comfortable or safe in cis-male spaces. Join us as we create a space to honor what makes us up as IWWOC: our physical, our intellectual, our emotional and our spiritual.
WSCO held its’ first Indigenous Women & Women of Color (IWWOC) gathering in February to create a sacred space of ritual that aims for systemic advancement of IWWOC. This table is dedicated to providing and creating a resilient space for IWWOC. This summit seeks to create a healing and sacred space for the powerful voices and bodies of IWWOC of St. Paul to flex our collective muscle through connecting, storytelling, and transformative conversations.
September 15th, we will start out the day at 11AM and close at 3PM. Snacks and lunch provided, as well as Childcare.
This is an Indigenous Womxn and Womxn of Color (IWWOC) event, we define IWWOC as cis, trans womxn and femmes of color who have a personal experience with the intentions of this space.
Be sure to register! And spread the word to all the IWWOC you know in St. Paul!
