You’re invited to a neighborhood meeting to learn more about investments coming to improve Robert Street through the MN Department of Transportation. This meeting is led by West Side neighbors organizing the Land Use Action Circle, a group organized by the West Side Community Organization that meets to learn, plan, and organize around the built environment of our community. Together we weigh in on existing projects and issues, and also address long-term, proactive planning.
This month, our special guest speaker is Malik Holt-Shabazz, Neighborhood Leadership and Organizing Program Director at the U of M’s Center for Urban and Regional Affairs. We'll be discussing upcoming investments and changes coming to Robert Street.
"I hope to see West Siders lead powerfully in decisions that shape the future of our community. If you live, work, play, or learn on the West Side, you are already an expert on Land Use and your voice is needed to cultivate a strong, vibrant West Side built for West Siders." – Joshua Toor, community organizer
