From MNDot:
The Robert Street viaduct will close from 5 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 24 through 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 25 between Cezar Chavez St. and King St. in St. Paul for preliminary maintenance and construction work. At the same time, the East Robert Street frontage road will close between Cezar Chavez St. to King St.
While the East Robert St. Service road is closed, residents will have access in and out of their neighborhoods and will be able to access local alleys. Please use extreme caution when entering and exiting your driveway because workers will be present.
The West Robert St. Service road between Cezar Chavez St. and George St. will also be closed, however, the West Robert St. Service road between George St. and King St. will remain open.
During the one-and-a-half-day closure, northbound Robert Street traffic will detour north on State St., and west on Cezar Chavez St. to reach Robert Street. Southbound traffic will travel east on Cezar Chaves St and then south on State St.
