SPPS Envision Plan Survey

Please share your feelings on the SPPS Envision plan for the West Side!
Saint Paul Public School Board recently approved a modified Envision proposal, with different impacts to the West Side elementary school community than originally proposed.
Under the new plan, no new students are expected at the Riverview Dual Immersion program (this is different than in the original plan), the Riverview Community School will move to the Cherokee Elementary building, and the Cherokee Montessori program will end and merge at JJ Hill.
The new plan has a projected reduction in enrollment to both Riverview and Cherokee Elementary Schools, with a significant portion of current West Side elementary students projected to leave the area.
