Next Meeting
Our monthly neighborhood meeting is a welcoming space where we can all create solutions to benefit the West Side. October's Voices Forum will be held on Tuesday, October 12th from 6:00- 7:30PM outside the Baker Center at 209 Page St. W.
Our spotlight tonight will be a community dialogue about rent stabilization with Margaret Kaplan and Jim Poradek of the Housing Justice Center. Do you have questions about the proposed rent stabilization policy on this year's ballot? Tonight is a great opportunity to learn more from a legal and policy perspective.
This Voices Forum will also feature a recognition of Indigenous People's Day, an opportunity to learn about Día de Los Muertos, fall snacks including pie and a cheesecake raffle, opportunities for community announcements, and we'll be saying a fond farewell to two beloved community members who are moving away from the West Side.
We will be outdoors and social distancing, please plan on using a mask and bring a chair or blanket. This month, we'll have some pies for sampling and cheesecakes to raffle off. Hope to see you there!
