For a second year in a row, we're seeing huge gas bill increases for heating our homes in winter months. Many families are being forced with the decision to pay their energy bills, or pay for food or medications. All the while, utility CEOs are making tens of millions each year; like David Lesar, CenterPoint Energy's CEO, who made $37.8 million in 2022. That's over $100,000 per day, while low income people are disconnected from an inability to pay their bills. That ain't right.
