Land Use - Voices Circle

Land Use -

Mission Statement: To “Scorecard” the things the scorecard group does not take on. Advocating for existing adopted plans, keep on top of public land changes, conduit for people with a project in the district.

Current Work -

  • Highway 3 / Robert Street Project

MnDot published community engagement results on 12/1/2020. "We repeatedly heard that people in the area want improvements for pedestrians, bicyclists, motorists and transit users alike. The community suggested improvements to sidewalks and crosswalks; the possibility of bike lanes; reducing vehicle speeds; adding pullover lanes for buses; and adding more greenery, public art and improved lighting.

For an in-depth look at the major themes and comments, we encourage you to read the public engagement report."

MnDOT is planning significant improvements to Robert St. between Annapolis St. and Fillmore Ave. in 2025 or 2026.

  • Lilydale Regional Park Picnic Shelter Project

Overview

The department of Parks and Recreation has allocated funding for a new picnic shelter and restroom structure for Lilydale Regional Park.  The final program will be verified by an analysis of site conditions and budget, however the anticipated program includes a restroom, storage room, a picnic shelter for 8 tables, and slight modifications to trail alignments
