West Side Neighborhood Celebrates Cultural Heritage with Local Art Fair
Saint Paul’s West Side neighborhood is gearing up for an exciting art fair and cultural market this October 2nd, creating space for underrepresented local artists and makers. People across the Twin Cities are invited to celebrate the West Side neighborhood's rich culture at the West Side Best Side! Neighborhood Art Fair.
“Here on the West Side, it’s important to celebrate our beautiful community and by lifting up local talent and creating spaces for joy. It’s about weaving strong connections between all of our neighborhood, because a connected community is a strong community,” said Monica Bravo, Executive Director of the West Side Community Organization, which is organizing the event.
Held during Hispanic Heritage Month, the event will be held in Parque Castillo, where attendees can shop for locally made goods, enjoy live music and performances including Mexican folk dancing. An array of food trucks and local food vendors will be available to enjoy.
