WSCO is a nonprofit neighborhood organization and district council with bylaws that regulate and manage our internal affairs. This year, we’re proposing a draft of amended and restated bylaws, to continue to improve our work. This proposed draft will be voted on at our Annual Meeting in November:

Who can vote on WSCO’s bylaws?
WSCO members (West Side residents, owners of businesses and organizations located on the West Side age 16 and older) who are present to vote in person at the 2024 annual meeting, can vote on the proposed amendments to WSCO’s bylaws.
Why is WSCO proposing to amend the bylaws?
Simply put, it’s time. Our last bylaws update took place seven years ago! Periodically reviewing and amending bylaws is a standard practice for all nonprofit organizations.
