The WSCO Board will now meet the FOURTH Monday of each month, beginning on June 25th, 2018 

The May meeting will be held on May 21st due to Memorial day.

The meetings are from 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm at the WSCO Office, 209 Page Street West

Upcoming meeting dates for 2018 are:

This is a change from the past meeting date of the second Monday of each month.

Notes from the January Health and Environmental Justice Meeting are available!

The City of St. Paul will be providing an update on stabilization of the “North Knob” within Lilydale Regional Park. The City received $925,000 in Disaster Relief Funds (DRAP) in early 2017. They have been working with the Ramsey Conservation District, Dakota County Conservation District, and Board of Soil and Water Resources to develop plans for bluff stabilization in this specific area and we would like to present the plans to the West Side community for comment.

HEJ meeting will be January 11th at 6:30pm at the Baker Center 209 Page Street West.  Please note the changed date.  Discussion will include HEJ actions and direction for 2018 and collaboration with similar committees in other district councils.  Please enjoy this agenda!  We hope to see you at the meeting.

WSCO and our cohort of District Councils have been named the 2017 overall winner in the city category of the Local Government Innovation Award (LGIA) by The Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota! This award recognizes the accomplishments we have made on our Equity Action Plan, including the work underway as a result of the West Side: Action to Equity series. West Side: Action to Equity was a three part series that took place this September may of you participated in focusing on adapting the Equitable Development Scorecard for the West Side. 

It was a big year for us all on the West Side.  Check out this video recap of some of the things we all did! This slideshow was shown at the WSCO Annual Meeting on December 8th, 2017.

This past Friday we celebrated a powerful year on the West Side and elected new board members for the 2018 year! Check them out!
